Our Foundation Curriculum Chart for this term

The foundation stage is from age 3 to the end of reception.

This national framework provides the six areas of learning that need to be included in the schools planning.

These areas are

Personal social and emotional development
Communication language and literacy
Mathematical development
Knowledge and understanding of the world
Physical development
Creative development

Our curriculum is planned in accordance to Ofsted recommendations. The long-term plans are the Learning Goals as set out in the foundation guidance file.

The medium term plans are the themes and topics these learning goals are hung on.

The short term's plans link to each indivdual child's needs in relation to the theme and the record keeping system.
